TORONTO, ONTARIO — (October 2, 2018) Symbility Solutions (TSX.V: SY) (“Symbility”), a global software company focused on modernizing the insurance industry, and HOVER, a platform that provides an accurate, interactive 3D model of any property, today announced their full product integration. The integration enables insurance adjusters using Symbility’s cloud-based claims management system to pull in HOVER’s powerful data package, including exterior and roof diagrams, photos and detailed exterior measurements, to process claims quickly and with high accuracy.
“Our goal has always been to improve our customers’ experience by eliminating unnecessary steps in the claims process, helping both carriers and their policyholders resolve claims as quickly as possible,” said James R. Swayze, CEO of Symbility Solutions. “HOVER provides accurate, current, and complete 360-degree view of a property. With this level of detail readily available within the Symbility platform, every carrier and insurance adjuster can ensure a quick and accurate claims process.”
This robust integration has shaved approximately 25-50 percent off claims processing times, depending on the complexity of the claim, allowing adjusters to increase the numbers of claims they can address daily and policyholders to start repairing their property within hours rather than days or weeks.
The integration will also bring the insurance industry a step closer to virtual adjusting by having the insured take a few photos of their property using the HOVER app. By engaging the homeowner, unnecessary site visits can be eliminated, reducing adjusting costs while drastically improving cycle times and resulting in a better customer experience.
“HOVER is the only solution on the market that identifies all materials on a building and extracts every line type on both the roof and elevations that are needed to complete an estimate with maximum accuracy,” said Kevin Reilley, Executive Vice President at HOVER. “HOVER’s dataset working seamlessly within Symbility allows insurance carriers and adjusters to process more claims faster.”
Symbility and HOVER will host a webinar October 30, 2018 at 1:00pm ET, 10:00am PT, detailing how organizations can take advantage of this product integration to reduce cycle times and provide better customer service.
