Symbility expands into the U.S. Northeast
Automated Benefits Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AUT) announced that it’s wholly owned subsidiary, Symbility Solutions Inc., has begun software pilot programs with two U.S.- based insurance carriers in the Northeast region. This announcement follows on the heels of two previous pilots announced earlier this month, bringing the total to four active programs in the U.S.
“Our strategy all along has been to penetrate the U.S market. These four pilot programs provide a fantastic stepping off point for Symbility’s rapid market adoption as an industry standard in wireless claims processing solutions,” states James Swayze, chief executive officer, Automated Benefits Corp. “The demand in the U.S. for a mobile claims solution is remarkable and we look forward to enabling an insurance market that is recognizing how innovative software applications can help streamline processes and reduce expenses. We now have pilot programs running in all regions of the United States with both large and mid-market carriers. Based on our operations and delivery track record, the team is focused and confident on converting these into long term contracts.”
Each program is expected to be completed in Q1 and are being conducted primarily in the Northeast region of the United States.
These engagements include the training of claims adjustors and independent contractors who will interact with the Symbility mobile claims system. The advanced property claims estimation system incorporates hand-held, pen-based computers transmitting wirelessly over the Symbility.net communication hub.
